Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British and American sitar player. She also sings. She is the youngest female and also the first woman to receive a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shakar, who is just a rising superstar on the Indian Sitar is Anoushka. She is a scholar and granddaughter of legendary Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982 and spent her early years shuttling between London as well as New Delhi. In the age of thirteen she staged her first show at New Delhi.
